The Gospel in Living Color: An Exposition of Paul's Letter to Philemon

Thursday, December 31, 2009

Paul's letter to Philemon is one of the most striking displays of gospel-driven affection, kindness, leadership, and friendship. Written to Philemon, a wealthy man in whose home some of the church of Colosse met, Paul appeals to him regarding what to do with Philemon's runaway slave, Onesimus, who had now become a disciple of Jesus...as well as a great help to Paul in prison. These messages were preached in 2005 and attempt to unpack this letter as a high-definition, living color display of the gospel of Jesus Christ in full operation in and among His people.
